1st Grade : Kristin Luscher
At St. Therese since 2011
Education: BA English, St. Olaf College; K-8 Teaching Certificate and MIT, University of Washington.
Experience: After working in various public, private and Catholic schools in the Seattle-area, I am so pleased to find a home at St. Therese to begin my teaching career! Prior to graduate school, I worked with elementary-aged students in various capacities, including reading tutor and classroom assistant, for over eight years.
Passion/Interests: I can usually be found with a book in my free time, and I am passionate about sharing my love of reading with my students. I am dedicated to inspiring students and fostering their curiosity, and providing each student with what he or she needs to find excitement and success in learning every day. I grew up in Kansas City, and after attending college in Minnesota, the mountains of the Northwest brought me to Seattle. My husband and I live in Burien with our two cats, and spend our weekends hiking, rock climbing, running, skiing and snowshoeing – basically taking advantage of all the Northwest has to offer!
