Annual St Therese Auction

We are very excited about the annual St Therese auction, scheduled this year for Saturday night, April 26th, 2008. "The Big Event" will take place at the 'W' Hotel in downtown Seattle, We are thrilled to have John Curley of Evening Magazine return as our auctioneer. Don't miss this fabulous event.

Important Auction Update: If you recently received an auction invitation in the mail, please note that the date printed is incorrect. The date on the invitation says Saturday, April 16, when it should really read Saturday, April 26th.

Auction News

The donations just keep rolling in and yet we still need more, more, more!!! A huge thank you to those who have gotten in some fantastic items and services. These are what make the auction a success. Some interesting items that have arrived include a fantastic hot pink ladies bike. And an equally fabulous retro style pink tricycle arrived just this morning. We also welcomed the arrival of a Nintendo Wii game system. (early Christmas shopping!!)

We've gotten several weekend vacations including one to Whistler and another to Sun Valley. We will be offering a great trip to New York City that includes airfare and tickets to either a Knicks or Rangers game at Madison Square Garden. Let me give you some ideas of what we still could use.

  • Restaurant certificates
  • Air miles
  • Themed gift baskets such as coffee, kids, sports or baby
  • Electronics such as playstation, xbox or iPods
  • Sponsorship. We still have a great need for underwriting of the event

I am continuing to collect names of parents and parishioners who can help out the night of the auction:

  • Pack up and delivery of auction items to hotel (you earn double hours)
  • Working registration table/checkout
  • Post auction clean-up (10pm-midnight, double hours)
Auction ticket reservations will be available on-line at our school website starting March 1st. Please register early as we anticipate selling out this year. Tickets will be $60 per person which reflects true cost of the event expenses.

We are looking at offering a lower ticket price for those who wish to attend the silent auction but not stay for dinner. More information to follow.
