About St. Therese School
Graduating from St. Therese: Typically around 80% of our students go to a Catholic High School or other Private High School. Those who attend Public School do so by choice. Our Principal and Vice Principal look at each individual student and help them determine the High School that best fits student and family.
Parent Organization Leadership Team (POLT)
The St. Therese School Parent Organization Leadership Team (POLT) is a group of school parents who support the school and build community through communication, fun activities and events, and fundraising. POLT provides opportunities, through various activities, for families to get to know one another, get involved with the school, and strengthen the special community we have here at St. Therese School. POLT collaborates with school and parish administration, as well as the auction and athletic departments, to plan and collaborate on functions and events throughout the year. 2007-2008 St Therese Parent Organization Leadership Team Members:- Peggy Jackson, President: Acts as a primary point of contact for school families; serves on the School Commission as the Parent Organization representative; runs the monthly POLT meetings
- Monique Adams, Room Parent Coordinator: Helps to recruit and support room parents; communicates and follows up with the room parents when there is a need for parent participation in a school or class event
- Alison Carter and Julia Dain, Co-Hospitality Chairs: Manage the many hospitality events at the school throughout the year (Welcome Back coffee, Back to School Nights, Kindergarten Information Night, Catholic Schools week receptions, etc)
- Sandy Gunder, Volunteer and Fundraising Coordinator: Manages all volunteering and fundraising activities; recruits volunteers throughout the school year; edits the school newsletter; and assists greatly with the monthly POLT meetings
